About

Standing the test of time the hoop earring is one of the
earliest known designs made for adornment. It has become a
statement of strength, unity and wholeness.

Designed by Isaac Ibbotson in 2001, these earrings
are immediately recognisable as they ‘catch the light’ with their
unique hammered surface. Hand crafted out of solid sterling
silver or gold they are comfortable enough to wear every day,
yet strong enough to last a lifetime.

The intention of the design was to honour old metalsmithing
techniques while modernising the design to be functional,
eye catching and minimal for both casual and special
occasions. They are forged from a single piece of metal, using
different hammers to produce a strong flexible finish which uses
the flex to open and close.
